IV Liquid Drinking Report: Ingredients, Dosage, Cost (2023)

IV fluid is an incredibly popular American company that has taken over the wellness drink industry in recent years, most notably with its hydration powder sachets.

IV fluid Hydration Multiplier Powder is an electrolyte, vitamin and mineral powder that is mixed with water and consumed.

The brand claims that the powder can provide the consumer with more than twice the hydration of water, and it looks like people are freaking out.

The brand went from $0 million to $100 million in sales in the first five years of its existence, and with over 40,000 customer reviews of this particular product on Amazon, it's safe to say that it's incredibly popular, and popularity alone. is growing exponentially.

If you are considering purchasing this product or would like to see how I take the powder, see my full Liquid IV review below.

What is IV liquid hydration?

As soon as you enter the Liquid I.V website, it becomes clear how professional, successful and well-known this company is.

Everything looks perfect: eye-catching graphics, user-generated content, informative text, and a small selection of stylish additions.

Looking at Liquid IV hydration packs, I'm both intrigued and dubious. While I understand the appeal of these hydration packs, I am a huge fan of drinking water!

In my opinion, it looks like Liquid I.V. decided to make hydration packs (which you can buy at drugstores for very low cost) look high-end in order to sell them at high prices.

But like I said, it looks good at first glance. So I'm looking forward to taking a look at the formula to see if it really is a revolution or a reimagining of the hydration bladder!

General information about Liquid I.V.

IV Fluid was founded in 2012 by Brandin Cohen in California.

Since then, celebrities such as Kevin Hart, Kygo, Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner have invested in the company, making it one of the most successful wellness beverage brands in the US market.

However, at the end of 2020, Unilever saw the company's success and decided to take over the brand. So who knows what's next from this brand!

benefits of intravenous hydration

Hydration Intravenous Fluid is designed to hydrate your body faster than water.

The brand claims that a single bar of the formula mixed in 16 ounces of water can provide the same amount of hydration as drinking 2-3 bottles of water.

Additionally, the brand claims that the vitamins and minerals added to the powder support overall health and offer a variety of specific health benefits, such as: B. Supported cellular health, more energy, and better muscle health.

intravenous fluid hydration ingredients

The Liquid I.V. Hydration contains 15 ingredients, and while some nutrition information is listed, the actual amount of most ingredients is listed.

However, I will get into the effectiveness of the formula a little later in this review. First, let's take a look at the ingredient list.

Here is the complete list of Liquid IV ingredients:

  • Ingredients– Pure Cane Sugar, Dextrose, Citric Acid, Salt, Potassium Citrate, Sodium Citrate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Silicon Dioxide, Rebaudioside A (Stevia Leaf Extract), Natural Flavors, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Vitamin B3 (niacinamide), vitamin B5 (calcium D-pantothenate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).

How does Liquid IV Moisture Flavor work?

The IV liquid hydration formula is available in a variety of flavors including lemon, guava, passion fruit, strawberry, watermelon, apple pie and acai.

Reviews of the formula's taste vary wildly, with some saying they love it and others saying it's too salty to enjoy.

secundary effects

The brand advises that salt-sensitive individuals consult a physician before consuming this formula and also warns that the powder can cause abdominal pain, nausea and diarrhea due to the high salt content.

I would recommend that you consult a healthcare professional before taking this formula if you are under 18, pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.

Liquid Cap I.V. Hydration?

Although the nutrition label for Liquid I.V. The Hydration Formula lists the amounts of some vitamins and minerals in the product, the other micronutrients and other ingredients in the formula do not have associated dosage information.

However, that's not really my main concern.

For a formula designed to keep you hydrated, this is an incredibly high dose of two ingredients that typically leave you dehydrated and worsen your overall health.

My main concern is that the sodium and sugar levels in this powder are incredibly high. For example, from the 16 g powder,11 g is sugar and 500 mg is sodium.

This sugar content is almost half of the recommended 24g serving and there is no nutritional benefit to consuming sugar, so it's not really clear why there is so much sugar in this powder.

For a formula designed to keep you hydrated, this is an incredibly high dose of two ingredients that typically leave you dehydrated and worsen your overall health.

So while the formula may provide some vitamins and minerals and get you hydrated right away, it won't be healthy for you or benefit your body in the long run!

So I have to say no, I don't believe this powder really works and provides consumers with the benefits they believe they will get from consuming it.

IV Fluid Hydration Assessments

Intravenous Hydration Fluid is an incredibly popular product - it has over 40,000 customer reviews on Amazon!

Overall, the formula scores 4.6 stars out of 5, which is an impressive overall score, especially for a product rated by so many people.

Let's take a look at a selection of those comments below.

This product is just wonderful! It gives me energy and helps me focus more on what it says. I feel better taking it and it's the only thing that seems to fight dark circles! This hydrates the skin to the point where dark circles disappear! Better than any concealer LOL This goes to show how important hydration is for your skin. I take 1 every day and sometimes 2 on days when I'm at the gym longer. Good product!5 star reviewer

I really wanted to like this product but I can't get over the taste. I can't fault the company for my personal taste, but for anyone who simply doesn't like hyper-intense lemon/lime flavors, this product is not for you.3 star reviewer

This product must not be labeled as an electrolyte product. When I received the package, I read the ingredients. 500mg sodium (21% of your daily intake) and 11g sugar, bringing the carb count to 12g, 50 calories per serving: FOR WATER. The taste is lemon-lime, but it does not completely dissolve in water and tastes like sugar crystals.1 star reviewer

Money back guarantee/return policy

The brand states that it fully stands behind its products and that if someone is not 10% satisfied with a product, they can ask for a refund.

However, there doesn't seem to be a solid money-back guarantee or a set time frame.

Where to buy IV fluid? hydration?

You can use Liquid IV Hydration fromintravenous fluid site, outside ofAmazonas.

Is the price worth it?

You can buy powdered hydration drinks in servings of 16, 32, 64 or 96 sachets. You can also get the powder packs as a one-time purchase or as a subscription as long as you buy a pack of 32 packs or more.

So let's take a look at some of these awards.

If you buy a pack of 32 as a one-time purchase, the cost per serving is $1.41. If you buy the same package with a subscription, the cost per service will be reduced to $1.25.

However, no matter what pack size you buy (as long as there are more than 32 packs), the cost per serving remains the same with a subscription option.

Therefore, the lowest possible cost per serving of these packages is $1.25.

This is quite an expensive price per serving when you can go to the pharmacy and pick up a box of electrolyte sachets (pretty much the same as this product) for a much lower price.

Also, you are paying a lot of money for something that contains high doses of sugar and salt!

fluid judgment IV

I have to say that I am very disappointed with this product and would not buy it.

The powder contains so much sugar and sodium that it's simply not a healthy choice. Also, there is very little research showing that powder actually provides 2 to 3 times more moisture than water.

As such, it simply does not meet good dietary supplement standards.

It goes to show that not everything that is considered revolutionary and popular is really beneficial for us!
